Exercise contributes significantly to our health. Those who bike to work already complete a daily fitness programme – healthy, economical and environment-friendly. For this reason, the Roche Employees’ Association (AVR) together with Site Mobility make it possible to take part in the Bike to Work Challenge again this year. Strengthen team spirit, jump on your bike in «May & June» and win great prizes.
How it works
Are you taking part for the first time?
Create a profile under “F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG” and join in.
If you already have a profile, log in now. You then have the following three options:
- Create a team and invite your colleagues.
- If there are any teams with free spaces, the team marketplace will appear automatically on the Team page. So you can send a request to ride with a team.
- Wait until you are invited to join a team.
- With your smartphone in your pocket, you have access to your personal Challenge calendar at all times. So you can check rapidly how your team is doing and see how many kilometres your company has covered – simply download the Bike to Work app!

Accompanying activities
The AVR is planning the traditional barbecue party in Kaiseraugst for June 25, 2025 for everyone who takes part in the Bike to Work Challenge and will send out a calendar invitation with the details in due course. And of course, as every year, we look forward to seeing photos of your special Bike to Work moments. Please share them with the AVR Office “basel.avr@roche.com”.
We’re especially pleased that, thanks to MWay, we’re giving away an Allegro Allcity e-bike to one lucky Bike to Work participants*. The winner will be announced at the barbecue party on June 25, 2025, in Kaiseraugst.
*The competition is open to anyone 18 years of age or older, and no legal recourse is possible.
