AVR site representatives are there to provide advice to colleagues who want to find out about their rights and the rules in force at Roche Basel or who need assistance with a problem at work (counseling, help with initiating action, support during conflict mediation). The AVR handles requests and inquiries from colleagues in the strictest confidence. No information is passed on to P&C, line managers, or other parties involved unless the person seeking advice gives their express permission.
If requested, the AVR will also take an active role in conflict situations and work with the P&C Business Partner and line manager to try to clarify and resolve matters.
Provided they give their consent, employees seeking advice will be referred by the AVR to other contacts if the problem falls specifically within their remit (e.g. Roche P&C, Medical Service, anti-workplace bullying liaison officers, etc.).
How do I go about getting help from the AVR?
Get in touch with us as soon as possible if a conflict arises. It’s better to resolve problems earlier rather than later. Either contact a site representative directly or e-mail us at basel.avr@roche.com
The AVR guarantees absolute confidentiality to anyone who contacts us. We will not take any further action without your written consent. Our advisory services are available to all Roche employees with individual contracts of employment (EAV).
