Basel Zoo, affectionately known as “Zolli”, is a green oasis in the middle of the city. It is characterized by its unique park landscape and the close proximity to the animals that you can experience here. Opening hours

The Zoo Basel is open 365 days a year.

January to February – 8.00 to 17.30 h
March to April – 8.00 to 18.00 h
May to August – 8.00 to 18.30 h
September to October – 8.00 to 18.00 h
November to December – 8.00 to 17.30 h
The animal houses close 10 minutes earlier.

The ticket office at the entrance closes half an hour earlier.
