Swisscom NATEL® go Flat World for an unbeatable price for members of the Roche Employees’ Association
Members of the Roche Employees’ Association Basel / Kaiseraugst & Schlieren (members from Rotkreuz please use this link) can benefit from the exclusive NATEL® go Flat World offer. The NATEL® go Flat World subscription is available exclusively to active members of the AVR (unfortunately not to retired members for technical reasons), and includes worldwide & unlimited* voice telephony, internet, SMS and multi-SIM connection (e.g. for use with a smartwatch).
The detailed information and conditions can be found here.
The subscription can be purchased for yourself or for a family member living in the same household. The offer is limited to 1 subscription per AVR member. A new number can be purchased or an existing number from a Swiss mobile phone provider can be migrated.
AND THIS IS HOW IT WORKS
Registration is possible at any time, but the activation date must not be more than 3 months in the future. We try to complete all new registrations as quickly as possible – but we ask for your patience!
Please note that the internal Swisscom name for the Roche subscription is Natel go Swiss premium. The wording of the SMS that Swisscom sends as a welcome message is therefore correct. The subject of the bills will also be Natel go Swiss premium (you will receive the bill as a pdf.file to your Roche email address).
You will also see roaming prices or prices for roaming or data packages in the Swisscom Cockpit – but these do not apply to you, as the offer includes unlimited inclusive units. So please don’t buy any additional packages – you don’t need them!

FAQs
The offer is limited to one subscription per person. However, under the old AVR offer, I activated several subscriptions for my family members – what happens to the other subscriptions now?
You can migrate one subscription to the new offer. The remaining subscriptions will continue under the old AVR contract with no change to the conditions.
Can my family also benefit from the new offer?
Yes – the subscription can also be purchased for a family member in the same household. However, per employee only one subscription can be purchased. Please note, the invoice will always be sent to your Roche email address.
Can I also purchase a cell phone with the subscription?
No, this offer only applies to the subscription.
Can I also benefit from this offer as a cross-border commuter?
Yes, cross-border commuters can also benefit from this offer! However, only Swiss phone numbers can be activated or assigned.
I am a retiree and purchased a subscription under the “old” AVR offer before October 25, 2023. What will happen to my subscription now?
This subscription will remain in place until further notice, nothing needs to be requested or changed. Unfortunately, a migration to the new conditions is not possible.
Can I benefit from the new subscription as a retiree?
Unfortunately not. Since Roche is formally the owner of the subscriptions, such a subscription can only be purchased with a Roche email address.
Can I benefit from the offer if I leave the AVR or Roche?
No, only Roche employees who are members of the AVR can benefit from the offer.
I am leaving the company and want to keep my number – what do I have to do?
The subscription must be cancelled at least 14 days before termination of employment (or leaving the AVR) if you wish to migrate and keep your number.
I am a contractor – can I also benefit from the offer?
No, this offer only applies to internal Roche employees who are members of the AVR.
Does the offer include a multi-SIM?
Yes, this is automatically activated at no extra cost when the subscription starts.
Roaming
The wording of the welcome text message from Swisscom does not correspond to the subscription I signed up for
First of all, despite the different names (Natel go Flat World & Natel go Swiss Premium), we can confirm that the conditions are as communicated by us.
Please note that the internal Swisscom name of the Roche subscription is Natel go Swiss premium. The text of the welcome SMS sent by Swisscom is therefore correct. The subject “Natel go Swiss premium” will also be included on the invoices.
The NATEL® go Flat World is activated for all AVR subscriptions in the background (“on top” of the Natel go Swiss premium). Unfortunately, there is no official name for this subscription type at Swisscom, as it was created exclusively for Roche. Swisscom however, cannot adjust the text of the welcome SMS. But we have received confirmation from Swisscom that all Roche AVR subscriptions have been/will be correctly migrated to our offer.
You may also see roaming prices or prices for roaming or data packages in the Swisscom cockpit – but these do not apply to you, as we have unlimited inclusive units. So please don’t buy any additional packages – you don’t need them!
In summary: The Swisscom internal name of the subscription is indeed “Natel go Swiss premium”, but this subscription includes worldwide and unlimited telephony, data and SMS at no extra charge – even if this is not displayed correctly in the Swisscom cockpit!
A small tip: If you are having problems with activating the new SIM card/subscriptions, very often it helps to simply restart your mobile phone.
Switching from another provider to Swisscom
In the event of such a switch, Swisscom will take over the termination with the current provider, provided that the authorization form has been completed correctly. A possible penalty fee, in case of moving to Swisscom (before the end of the contract with the former provider), will neither be paid by the AVR nor by Swisscom.
