To give the newly established Apprentice Committee an appropriate kick-off and provide it with a broad platform, two joint breakfast events were held at the beginning of May. Numerous apprentices gathered on May 4th in Kaiseraugst and on May 7th in Basel to connect in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.
The primary goal of both mornings was to create an informal setting for exchange and to actively promote networking among the apprentices. The response was overwhelming: apprentices from a wide variety of professions accepted the invitation, contributing to a highly vibrant and positive atmosphere at both sites. Through engaging conversations, participants seized the valuable opportunity to make new acquaintances and share experiences across departmental and occupational boundaries.
Many Ideas for the Future Agenda
In addition to the social gathering, the focus was also on providing initial input for the new committee’s future work. Participants were actively involved, capturing their most pressing ideas, wishes, and valuable suggestions.
Thanks to this creative collaboration, the committee was able to gather a solid foundation and initial concrete discussion points for its upcoming agenda right from the start. These successful interactions have laid an important cornerstone for future cohesion and collaborative teamwork. All in all, it was a thoroughly successful launch that builds anticipation for the Apprentice Committee’s upcoming projects!
