What do the years 1985 and 2000 have in common? Aside from various musical, political, and cultural milestones—such as Live Aid, the election of Mikhail Gorbachev, and the launch of Microsoft Windows 1.0, the rise of Coldplay, the election of Vladimir Putin, and the PlayStation 2—these two years mark the starting points of the Roche careers for last year’s anniversants.
In 2025, the AVR had the pleasure of congratulating 162 employees on their 25th anniversary and 21 employees on an incredible 40 years at Roche.
A quarter-century and four decades are impressive milestones. These are achievements to be proud of; they deserve to be celebrated—ideally in the company of colleagues with great food and drinks.
The AVR provided the perfect setting for this occasion. Numerous guests accepted the invitation to the anniversary dinner, enjoying an aperitif and a three-course meal followed by a dessert buffet. Susanne Löffler (AVR Assessor) and Andreas Winkler (AVR Treasurer) also took a moment to review the highlights of 1985 and 2000.
The evening was filled with laughter and conversation as memories were shared and old stories retold. Time passed far too quickly, but the event will certainly remain a fond memory for everyone involved.
The AVR would like to take this opportunity once again to thank all our anniversants for their long-standing commitment and loyalty to the company. Such dedication and identification with a company are testament to a healthy corporate culture—which remains a vital factor for success, especially in times of constant change.
